BIGGER DOESN’T NECESSARILY MEAN BETTER
To illustrate that bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better, for this post I’m sharing the isolated floor plans of both the initial and current design for the great room, kitchen and dining room for comparison purposes. In reviewing the floor plans side by side, here’s a list of the differences between them.

A few weeks ago, I shared about the Melodic Landing Project, a 1938 Cape Cod home that’s located in a beautiful, treelined Northern California neighborhood. The home is slated to go through a whole house remodel, and addition. Once the project is complete it will double in size, and quadruple with improved function and form.

Not long ago, in this very dining room, at this very table, my daughter Avery and her husband Trever, and my husband Tyler and I watched an impromptu, one-person, seven act play performed by our then, nearly 6 year-old grand daughter. We laughed until we cried. It was hilarious!
